    Firearm Refresher Course

    1. An armed man is a citizen. An unarmed man is a subject. 2. A gun in the hand is better than a cop on the phone. 3. Colt: The original point and click interface. 4. Gun control is not about guns; it's about control. 5. If guns are outlawed, can we use swords? 6. If guns cause crime, then...

With or without the spent primer?

My apologies. It was a bit late when I posted the poll. Seems as though the question was poorly worded. Just hit yes, if you tumble with the primer in, no with the primer out. But, it's pretty funny, the majority of responders do tumble with the spent primers in.

Gun and Knife Shows: Big Crowds?

Eastman Gun Show in Macon, GA had a large crowd, and decent amount of vendors. I was really surprised with the number of long guns that were there, and got sticker shock at AR's...glad I'm a pistoleer right now :)

With or without the spent primer?

Spent primer in the case? Do you tumble your cases with spent primer in? This is an offshoot of a question I posed in another thread. I'm relatively new to reloading, and THR, and hope I could come up with a general consensus of which way would be most effective. I couldn't change the...

    Case cleaning- how clean?

Thanks for the information Fred. It does make more sense to clean the cases so it would save the dies. Kinda a mixed bag of results on the cleaning with primer in/primer out though. I sense a poll coming up!

What's a reasonable firearm rental fee?

Indoor range that I haunt charges $5/hr for gun rental, and you have to shoot their ammo (good quality stuff btw, I use in my own gun). Reloads, albeit cheaper than new brass that's sold at other stores. Plus I sweep up the spent brass from the lanes next to me. That's why I go in the evening :)

    Case cleaning- how clean?

Just curious, do you guys tumble with the spent primers in, or removed?

    Home invasion foiled

Man, the only thing that the homeowner was missing was the automatic gate. It would have been sweet had he been able to lock the car on the grounds (like a trophy of sorts). I liked how the camera caught Joe The Plumber's crack on camera as he almost pulled a Luke Duke sliding across the hood...

Black Bear in my back yard

I found it funny that the member named thegriz is suggesting deterrents for a bear ;) Perhaps some Dragons Breath rounds would be fun to have in lieu of the blanks? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon%27s_Breath

    manly breakfast (includes 1911)

Ha, I'm too lazy to cook up some food this morning, and I don't think the Waffle House would appreciate me putting my piece on the table. Much less after what happened in our local Waffle House on the 6th. Two officers shot an armed suspect multiple times after they came up to disperse a...

    manly breakfast (includes 1911)

Bacon is awesome! It is its own food group! I thought it was funny with the picture of the PB&J sandwich the .22 cal and cheese puffs were kinda indicative that a .22 is a target plinker's bread and butter!

Is 9mm cost effective to reload now?

Thanks for all the inputs gents. I too am getting some reloading equipment tomorrow (used) to start reloading for my brother and I. Ammo prices have gone through the roof!

How many have gotten their cc permit since the election?

Filled out the paperwork for mine 2 weeks ago. Waiting for the card to come from the state. I also just purchased another handgun, but wanted the CCL to keep myself on the right side of the law. My area is turning into a war zone... ** Edit, mine came in on Saturday, just in time to go to...
