    AIM's got No.2A Enfields!

    Received mine yesterday. The black paint is coming off pretty much all over. I think I'll strip it down and put some duracoat on it. Stock has two crudy repairs on the butt. I'll be refinishing the stock also. On the bright side it does have a nice bore.

    Which .22 lever-action?

    I have the H001 lever action in .22LR. I haven't done any accuracy testing, but I can hit a tin can at 50 yards off-hand. I've probably put around 1k rounds through it without a problem. Also, the action is very smooth. The only negative about it is, like you said, the plastic barrel bands...

    Yep Yep. I had some fried gator tail once. Just like chicken.:) I've been fishing and boating down here in Florida for years, and I've never had a problem with gators. Leave them alone and they'll leave you alone.

    Walther P99 - 2 Buy or Not 2 Buy?

    I don't have the .40, but the 9mm version of the P99. I've put around 2000 rounds of several types of ammo and I've never had a problem. I have the "titanium coated" slide and it still looks almost new. I'm glad I bought it.
