Got almost 5,000 rounds through mine without a single NOT ONE single ftf or fte, that makes me a big fan. I own two and am always on the hunt for a good deal on another.
I'm by no means an expert on this round, but the OAL is between 1.375 and 1.377 inches. The only new commercial manufacturer that I know of is S&B and Winchester.
I have two a "Simson-Suhl" that's pretty much a safe queen, and an IJ-70 both are 9x18mm the IJ simply cannot be stopped probably have near 4000 rounds through it everything from 120gr hp to 90gr xtp without a single, not even one ever problem, no FTF, no FTE.
I've got 3500 rounds through my commercial russian, barrel still looks pristine have never had a single jam or failure to feed. Totally flawless operation. Have never replaced a single part.
Not sure if it's true, but I've heard that the Winchester white box is manufactured by Seller and Berloit(sp?). Recently I've had lot of out of spec S&B rounds in 7.62x25mm.
I bought the .380 for my wife. Tryed to run corbon through it had lots of jams, since changing ammo it has been flawless. I have about 300 rounds through it.
