7mm Rem Mag, 160 AB, 3000 fps. Weight of rifle does not bother me. 4.5 power will be plenty of FOV @ 100 yards....something like 25 ft. I feel confident out to 350 yards with my current rifle and scope set-up. Just want something that I am confident out to 500 yards with.....

I have my choices nailed down to 3 scopes. The 2.25x16 Bushnell Elite 6500 with DOA reticle The Zeiss 4.5x14 Conquest with Rapid Z 800(or 1000) Leupold VX3 4.5x14 with CDS. I am leaning towards the Zeiss..... I am pretty sure the CDS system works much like the Custom...

Great post woods...TYVM! Your right this rifle can easily go 2-3 grs over listed book values and still show no pressure signs. I loaded H-1000 last year until I got to 3050 level and was showing some pressure signs.(sticky extraction and marks on primer).... I backed it off about 1.5 gr...

Sounds like I am going to be buying at least 10 boxes of bullets and 8 lbs of powder:what:....and alot of experimenting next year....too late this year to play around for 2 weeks tweaking...:rolleyes:

I have a 7mm Rem Mag Ruger No.1 with quite a long throat. The barrel is 26 inchs. I am trying to work up a load with Retumbo and 160gr Accubonds. I measured the OAL length using the bullet jam into the lands technique and the average came out to 3.520. Should I start at 3.505 or...

There website only shows 3 loads for 160gr. Rem Mag. They specifically do NOT list all the loads because then NO-ONE would buy the actually manual. Unless there are only 3 loads for 160gr Accubond or Partition?

Anyone have the NEW Nosler manual and data for the 160gr. Accubond in 7mm Rem Mag? I am particular interested in the most accurate loads tested(if they still have this feature) and H1000, RL22 or Retumbo loads. Thanx in advance.

He did start at 59 gr and work up...:rolleyes: The 63 gr must be a max load for his rifle.. The bullet was seated .030 off the lands. I told him a few days ago to be safe back off about 1 grain for sure...

RCBS 505 Scale has been double an triple checked....accurate and working fine. Primers are not mixed up...as he has just started so he is using Federal Large Rifle Mag only I asked if the bolt was sticky at all....and he said NO. I will get him the measure case head expansion.
