No experience with Brown. Sent a Baer back for refinishing (my fault, my dime); lots of additional charges, like $45 for test-firing.
Had to return a Wilson SpecOps for feeding issues, they really did go above and beyond to get it right; even offered a handful of spare mags for my trouble. I...
I had three .45 Browns which I traded for some Wilson's and one Brown that I've kept; Brown makes a fine gun and I think you'll be happy with it. Also have three 9mm 1911s from Wilson and Guncrafter, but none from Brown; a 1911 in 9mm is almost like cheating. So little recoil, so fast back...
I bought the .380 and the .32 last year; both have some pretty limiting ammo recommendations: is this also true of the .25?
With the right ammo, both my Seecamps function well; although the .380 is just no fun to shoot. I could get the same effect just by dropping a brick on my hand a few times.
I'm happy with my Garrett Silent Thunder. Ordered it for a Beretta 92 but forgot to mention the Brigadier slide; a call to their office and a little time with a heat gun made the gun fit perfectly.
I despised my PPK; perfect function but surprisingly high recoil. When I bought it in about 1984, I was also considering the SIG 230. Last year I finally got the SIG 232 and there's no comparison between it and the PPK; it is everything I wanted in the Walther. You may still be able to find a...
Please do not get the Quick Clip; the single clip will not support the weight of your gun, the holster sink below the belt line and you will not be happy.
Just bought one without the WC action job. Only bought it as I'm a WC fan and have to say this is a fun range toy. My LGS measured the DA pull at 8.5# and SA at 5.5#. This is the best DA gun I've owned, quite accurate and carries IWB better than I thought it would.
So, without the action...
I've sold my Baers, good guns but just didn't ring my bell. My Browns are sitting at LGS on consignment, same thing; good guns but no "wow" factor.
Still amassing Wilsons and my new favorite is Guncrafter, their NoName .45s are as good as Wilson and a little less costly.
Reviews of Cabot seem...
I traded my pm9 as I generally pocket- carry a smaller gun. But I still have the all metal mk9 as, for hip carry, the extra weight isn't nan issue.
Another thread, probably on another forum, asked about Kahr reliably. One poster claimed an Internet search yielded more problems with the cm...
Thanks for the links. They appear to be much more flexible than my two leather gun belts so I'm a little suspicious of their ability to support my carry gun/holster, and the cost is surprisingly low for a quality leather gun belt; but my 5 stitch nylon belt is pretty flexible, supports well and...
