By "mock" to you imitate the shooter or make jest of them? Either way I guess they should have stayed behind the line.
A camera glued to the head sounds pretty obvious to me, could the shooters not tell the kid to buzz off or was the filming a condition for participation?
I have some experience with CCI Stingers and their effect on the human body.
About twenty five years back as a dumb high school kid I was out shooting with some friends in an old pit and the kid right next to me shot himself in the leg, just above the ankle. He had a borrowed .22...
I received one of these a couple years ago and called the NRA to read them the riot act. I described, in full color, all the ways that this is not how a responsible organization should operate and what they could do with my membership.
The girl assured me that the DVD were to be...
Finished!
It took about twice as long as I expected, mainly because neither the Hogue grip and the T6 stock didn't fit worth a darn and had to be "adjusted."
I though the fire control group was going to be the biggest problem but I just did the assembly in front of the PC with one of...
That's a great discussion, thanks.
I agree, I'm not going to worry about it. If something happens that forces me to prove the pedegree of my rifle then I've got a lot more to worry about than getting my hands dirty taking the receiver apart again.
Yeah, even the smallest parts are stamped made in USA. It's just funny that there is so much emphasis on the conversion yet nothing after the fact.
I can't imagine that I will ever have to prove the "pedigree" of my conversion but I just think it's odd I would have to disasemble the FCG to...
I hope I'm not totally blind but what is the manufacturer/seller? I like the idea of the oversized safety, especally as mine is broken right now anyway.
I just bought the parts to do a conversion on a Saiga 7.62x39 and I'm wondering about what kind of paperwork I need to keep.
With all the fuss over doing a conversion with the proper "US" parts and purchased from a seller that specializes in conversions I'm surprised there isn't any actual...
One thing that did intrigue me was the fairly large selection M1 Garands at several vendors.
I would have loved to get one but there was such a range in prices( low of $650 to high of $1600), even within the same rack that there is obviously something I'm missing. My goal is to study up on...
I agree with the OSA folks comments, especially on the sore feet.
As always there was a HUGE selection of truly collectible firearms; beautifully crafted shotguns, double rifles, tables of real American history, unfortunately that's not what most buyers wanting.
As an eager buyer I found...
When you make a private party sale do you keep any record of who the gun was sold to?
I know this question goes beyond just gun shows but in a gun show environment particularly I can imagine people looking to pick up a gun anonymously for reasons other than convenience. Any worry that...
Thanks berettaprofessor. I sent an e-mail to the NRA at your suggestion and they did confirm my Life membership effective 12/31/2009. Guess their web site is just slow to update.
Thanks to Bailey Guns for adding me to his list and thanks to all the participated for supporting the NRA and RKBA.
Looks like something's happening for me. When I checked the NRA website I'm still listed as "Regular Annual - Active" but my expiration date is now 1/31/2030. Don't tell my wife but it looks like according to the NRA I'll be alive and kicking for 19 more years.
