    AK47 & Ultimak - Aimpoint Micro vs Trijicon RMR?

    After some googling it seems that red dots in the Aimpoint Micro form factor are a lot more popular than Trijicon RMR and similar smaller red dots on a Ultimak rail. The lower weight of the RMR would be desirable. Why are people selecting the larger sight?
