I did go there today for the CMP clinic (wanted to shoot my M1), and I have to say that everyone there was great. Not a bad apple amongst them. Of course, I was in the first shoot, they might have gotten testy by the time the third one rolled around. :)

I never tried to get here from work, or any other site that can be classified as 'weapons'. Something out being at a school district tells me that it is blocked w/o even trying. Plus, I don't have time to really sit at a computer to try it during the day.

I have one of those Remington mini dehumidifiers (Model 365) in my safe. I just had to recharge it Friday, and half of the crystals are clear again, not much blue there. I keep the air in that room moving almost all the time (fan), and it has not been helping much.

I keep my receipts anyway. I actually scan them into the computer, since I tend to lose papers. I don't recall GAT ever telling me that though.

The CMP has Mossberg M44US bolt action rifles on sale. They should last a couple months and are only $175 + shipping. They are out of 7-round magazines already. They can be bought elsewhere though. It is inexpensive and from what I read, shoots well. Mine should show up sometime early next...

I called Brownells first, and they gave my my account number to write on the copy of the C&R that I sent so that they upgraded my existing account. I was getting the discounts two days later. I have yet to hear from SOG.

Unfortunately, I have to work. I tried to get out of it, but summer school is hard to talk your way out of once you accept the position months ago. I hope there is a substantial turnout.

It does eject the first cartridge. I am going to take the time to dive into this gun someday soon.

The bolt moves perfectly fine, and I can pull it back. It will not close the entire way, since the ammo is in the way due to the jam after the first round. I have only ever shot .22LR through it. I will take some time to look at your suggestions though.
