    "Konus" optics

Been shopping for a spotting scope for quite some time now. features were as important as quality. I ended up with the Konuspot 65. Light gathering is spectacular and image is super clear.

Which Air Pistol For Practice At Home?

get yourself a real air pistol. Steyr, Morini,Walther, Pardini. All Olympic grade. Izh 46,46m will shoot almost as well. IMHO a good investment, as I shoot air 80% of the time as to my powder burners

    What about HK?

I've contacted HK on several occasions. One time for a slide hold open problem with my p7. They walked me through a simple procedure that solved the problem. Other times were tech help, customer assistance etc. Had nothing but polite, patient help.

All Out Caliber War! .38Spl vs 9mm vs .40S&W vs .45ACP vs .41Mag

I'll chime in on this one. I like my 9mm carry gun, also the cost for ammo really helps promote practice. I've got a couple 45s, but I'm not as comfortable carrying the 45 as I am carrying my 9

    What about HK?

My first pistol was an HK, and to date is still a favorite. Since...I've purchased 4 more HKs. I've never had a problem with spending a bit more for a specific gun, especially for quality. As HK says... in a world of compromise some don't.

    lefty carry gun

Thanks all, as far as the mag release, on my 1911 i can't operate it with my thumb. I have to use my left hand. While shooting weak hand, I just use my index finger. I think my friend has his heart set on a glock. ( personally I don't like them) As said earlier... get what you want, practice...

    Whats your dream carry gun?

I'll second the p7m7, or even a compact p9 45 both of these never went past proto type:mad:

    9MM or .40?

I like to shoot what I carry, and that shooting means practice. I've shot many 40s and as said before the snap to the recoil is more abusive than a 45. IMHO of coarse:)

    .32 auto for concealed carry

Don't forget for pocket carry (at least for me ) weight is an issue,I really like the NAA, and Secamp.A bit too heavy for my liking. Dave

Opinions sought on .22 competition pistols.

I was faced witht the same thing a few years back. I did a lot of research and ended up buying an IZH35m. Used I paid 650 with a dot scope. I love the Benelli, but at the time I couldn't shell out the extra dough:banghead:

    1911 or springfield

sorry das028, I didn't know anyone actually thought Springfield Armory only makes the xd! I am refering to the National match full size 45 acp. with comp. IMHO the XD is a carry type pistol, not a plate, or target 45?:neener:
