500 s&w I have owned a 500 for five years and love it. I hand load and cast my own bullets with gas checks. It can have the kick of an elephant or be as mild as a mouse.

I may be out of line, but has anyone tried the Hi-Point? They are American made with a lifetime warrenty, inexpensive, and a whole lot of fun to shoot.

Thanks guys. Larry Potterfield of Midway USA sent me the info. Am still trying to get ahold of EAA for parts. Some jerk dismantled the gun loosing the firering pin saftey & spring.

I own two Hi Points, one in 9mm and one in 380acp; neither has malfuntioned with over a thousand rounds. As FiveFiveSixFan suggests, call their customer service as they have a lifetime warranty.

Does anyone have a disassembly guide and parts breakdown for the Springfied P9, 9mm? If so, could you email me a copy? Dave45
