Bushnell TRS-25 because I am cheap and it was less than $100--including the separately purchased UTG mount. I did not need some tactical military grade optic...just something for target shooting.

I was wondering what the general consensus is on mounting red dots... I have a YHM AR with a full (HUGE!) rail (44 positions). I have a Bushnell TRS-25 on UTG rail, which is co-witnesses with YHM BUIS. I've tried it back on the upper at position 13, up on the barrel on position 18 and up...

I ended up a Blue Force Vickers Combat Application Sling. It hooks to my Magpul CTR with a quick release and I have a Troy Industries rail mount up front with another quick release. I think my QRs are GG&G.

People always bring this up... are there statistics or something out there? How do you know it's not some knucklehead that didn't load a round properly? You can take a couple Internet posts for anything and blow it out of proportion... I've shot a lot of crappy ammo and a few thousand...

I used to own a Springfield Armory XD9sc. I ordered it direct from SA with night sights. It showed up and the sights were both loose... you could move them by hand. I sent it back and had them fixed. It came back and one wasn't centered right. I paid my own money to fix that...

Still loving mine after a month... I've put 600 rds through it so far with no issues!

It came from Alan Yoast, so it's legit. It seems to have mostly stopped. It was just the straps part not the holster. It's getting broken in...very comfy already.

Question...does establishing one of these make it valid in all states? (Where the weapons are allowed, of course.) I'm military & should be in Colorado a few years, but I plan to retire in Pennsylvania in about 4 years. I'd like to pick up a couple cans...

All the "environment" and "insurance" posts make me sad. I can't wait to escape the city this summer, get back to backwoods Pennsylvania & go shooting on mom & dad's farm.
