Thanks bds. I have heard it works with 38spcl but not 223. That works out because I have 223 and no 38. I'll try that as soon as I get it mounted.

I ordered the shell plate mod, and am looking into making the mod for the spent primers. Don't want to spend $25 on it if I can make it. Plus with the tube I can make a stop for the ski jump for the live primers as well. Got a mount ordered as well as small pistol case plate and a powder check...

The seller is pretty form on the price. I wanted only the 308 an 9mm conversions and he still wouldn't drop the price any. I will go take a look at it and see from there. Any other areas I should look for in a used Dillon 650?

I went to Brian's site and totaled it up, came to a little over $1100. So I would be saving $200 plus the shipping cost.

A local guy has a gently used 650 for sale. It comes with a case feeder, conversions for 308 9mm 40 and 45 colt, large rifle and pistol plate. He is asking $900. So what do you think?
