    Are 44 Revolvers Dying?

The first S&W I bought was a Model 51 22 Mag. (still have it) the second one was a Model 29 4" in 1974 that left due to chemo bills in 1983. Since then I have bought 6 more 44 mags and 3 44 Specials to replace it. I guess it hasn't died here yet.

An interesting way to prevent loading lever drop...

The Walker I bought from Jackrabbit1957 doesn't drop the lever either. He did something to the latch.

    three questions

A few months ago I fired an ASM that was loaded in 2018 when I was still in MN. All chambers fired like normal. It was loaded with Gatfoe #1 lubed wads and round balls. I guess that not all lubes cause contamination.

    The big N Frames

I used to always carry my Mountain Revolver, then my model 69 and now either my 632 or a semiauto.

    Stunning 29-2 4” Class B Engraving $999?!?! HOW??

No it wasn't. The first run of Mountain Revolvers was 44 magnum. 5000 of them in 1989. Mine cost me $355 back then.

Yep, I have the 44 Special too. I put an 11 degree cut on the forcing cone in it 7 years ago for the wadcutters.

    CVA Muzzle loaders

I put a 50 cal Hawkin kit together about 20 years ago that Judy got me for Christmas. I haven't shot it for many years but I'm gonna. And my shotgun works excellent.

Thoughts on .36 caliber 1858 repros?

I have an Uberti 1858 in 36 that I bought a couple years ago. I've never put it side to side with one of my other Pietttas to check size but they are close I'm sure. It's OK but I haven't shot it enough to really tell you accuracy. I have only shot a reactive target up the mountain side. I also...

    Couple more BP guns.

I still have my old CVA 12 gauge that's pretty light. It hasn't been outta the safe in over 5 years.

    Unique Dragoon…

He's done four others for me and has my Robert E Lee 2nd Gen as we speak. I also have a Jackrabbit Uberti Walker, 1860 Pietta Sheriff and 1862 Colt 2nd Gen Police. I always have fun shooting!
