somebody stop me (from buying a kel-tec)

I'm about your size and I can carry my PF9 easily in my front pocket. Not great for jeans, but it still works OK. Mine has been flawless, no problems whatsover. Get one, shoot the heck out of it at the range until you trust it and you're GTG.

    IDPA/USPSA 9mm Question

Another vote for the Glock 34. Hard to beat for SSP or Production. OR you could shoot a Glock 21 in CDP, SSP, ESP Limited, Limited 10 and Production. You might not be optimally competitive, but you'd certainly be in good shape. Now that's versatility.

Lee Classic Turret or Hornaday LML AP? Opinions appreciated.

I own both. The LNL is a much better built tool. Output is much greater too with the progressive. IMO the biggest weakness in the Lee system is the auto disk powder measure. It takes a considerable amount of trial and error to find the right cavity to fit your powder requirements...

    New LnL AP

I've been very satisfied with my LNL AP. If you have a question or need replacement parts, their customer service is excellent. Take your time setting it up and get to "know" the machine. It benefits from some "polishing" and tweaking here and there, but it is a very good set up.

    best striker fired trigger?

Glock with the competition trigger. It makes such a huge difference it is hard to believe.

Anyone have a BPS High Capacity?

I've had one for about a year or so. Pro's - Well built, solid feeling, not flimsy, even the plastic stock is stout. Smooth action. The bottom eject is definitely a plus for lefties. Con's - absolutely no aftermarket "tacticool" goodies for it. If it is set up exactly like you want...

Noob pistol question: Slingshot vs overhand

Overhand. Allows you to get your weak hand back in firing position more efficiently. As you release the slide with your weak hand, allow it to rotate back, down/under forward without ever losing contact with your strong hand/wrist. Takes a few reps, but once you get used to it, it's one...

    shops in Little Rock, AR

Try Fort Thompson in NLR/Sherwood. I bought a mag there for my USP 45 last fall. 12 rounder, cost about $45, which isn't too far out of line.

gun shows on the outdoor channel

I DVR them, then fast forward past the parts I'm not interested in and the commercials. I can watch the entire Wed night "Home on the Range" lineup in about 30 minutes total. I've heard the Potterfield guy is a tough competitor. Has bought or put a lot of "little guys" out of business...

    Neos Facts Please

I've had one for a couple of years. Nice little gun. Accurate enough, very reliable too. Much better than the S&W 22A I have.

    Cheep bullets

OK, I'm going to interject some economics here. I reload 45 acp and 223. I have a Glock 22 and have been thinking about adding some 40S&W dies to my set up and loading some for it to. At a recent trip to Wally World, I noticed that you can still buy 40 S&W in Blazer Brass for $7.37 for a...

    Why does .40 S&W suck?

I wouldn't say it sucks, but like many compromises, it may not meet the needs of all the users as intended. I would definitely rather carry a 40 S&W (I've owned a Glock 22 for 10+ years) than a 9mm, but in my mind, it's not as effective as a 45 acp. More snap than a 45 and not nearly as...

    BPS High Capacity

Anyone? I've been coveting the same gun myself. I'm torn between "converting" one of my lesser pump guns to a HD model or just going with one like this.
