Value of Ruger Blackhawk Convertable .45 Colt/.45 ACP

Just bought one used, but like new, for $300, so that seems high. In my area folks buy them and find out 45colt is expensive to shoot and 45acp is not quite as accurate coming out of the same gun. So they move on. If you keep looking you will find a number of good used ones for sale.

Very good service at good, but maybe not the lowest, prices from Midway. If you are looking for some specific brands and loads rather than just the lowest price, they are worth a look.

Bulltace---After all that advice, if you still want to trade, I have a 686-3(6inch barrel) with Bianchi holster, 3 speed loaders, 4 sets of grips including original wood, box, S&W soft case, etc. I would be willing to trade.

    Any good Virginia gun shops?

Guns and Ammo Warehouse--down the road from Virginia Arms on Route 28. No range, but has an interesting "auction" process in the rear of the store where one can acquire pre owned never fired guns as well as typical used guns. As is the case with all pre owned guns, you need to know what you want...

    Collectible Modern Handguns.

Thanks all. Seems like there are more collectible handguns than I imagined. Probably will start with a Python since it can be shot without significant value reduction and it is fun, which is what it is all about.

    Collectible Modern Handguns.

I have returned to shooting after being away for many years. Lots of new manufacturers, lots of old manufacturers in trouble, unlimited sources on information and equipment, all of which has made my return very enjoyable. But guns that I used as everday handguns now seem to have become...
