I have over 20 41 mag guns, including rifles, revolvers etc. I have 2 44 mag revolvers and can't remember the last time I fired one. If i want bigger I have 454s and a 480. So my vote is get the 41, you will love it. (if you reload)

Get well, I commiserate with you, hard to shoot when ya don't feel well, cold hands etc. I'll go out and shoot when it isnt windy, but the wind chills me to the bone at my age.

Would deep seating it over the driving band let it chamber? I know you'd have to modify the load, so if'n you use it in revolvers also you probably don't want to do that. But, again you might like it in both.
