I was thinking of going the ugly way and attaching it to the exterior of the safe but it you do make sense with the whole hassle of it, also the steel plates is a good idea but I don't know how much it would cost for that much metal

Hello all, just wondering if any of you had any input into my situation. Down here in Australia one of the rules of owning guns is that you HAVE to have a gun safe and if it is under 150 kg (330 pounds) it has to be attached to the wall or floor, I'm renting at the moment so attaching it...

For the Scope I was thinking something along the liens of the Nikon Monarch 4-16x42 which usually goes for around $480 but I might be able to get it cheaperthrough a friend that works for Nikon
