STI decided to let me hold onto this gun for awhile, to see if I could shoot it to pieces. The sample gun has yet to malf. Though I have to admit I haven't put as many additional rounds through it since the article as I should - and will.

I never said that. Yes, I've carried 9mms. Yes, I've carried .45s. I never felt particularly disadvantaged - or particularly advantaged, for that matter, as far as being better protected by one cartridge over the other - with either.

Thank you. I actually wrote that piece years ago, wasn't able to sell it. "Too esoteric," or somesuch. But I really liked that piece, held onto it, and eventually was able to sell it. I think it was published in Hanguns, actually. Um....no? I don't think so. I don't wear yellow shooting...
