I would suggest different grips. I had a Redhawk years ago and hated the recoil. It ended being the grips, no they were not the wood ones. Grips to big for my hand.
I am a new 45 Colt fan. I have owned the NM 45/8 for several years and really just started playing with it. Last week I picked up the Bisley, and just put the 4" Redhawk on lay-a-way.
Your problems with the ftf have to do with the swc bullets. The G36 and The G30 do not like swc profile. Has to do with the angle of the feed ramp. this has been known for years by owners of the G30 and g36.
I am glad he is suing Glock, and I bet Glock is too. The reason Glock wanted to inspect the 2 firearms, but the PPD would not send them back to Glock.
Glock even offered to fly a rep from the Portland PD with the firearms and let them watch the inspection and would be able to return the damaged...

Well I think it depends on each gun. I have owned each of the guns you mentioned. All are more accurate than most people. The best goup I have every had came from a Glock 30, 25 yds standing 5 shots could be covered by half dollar. My Wilson's have never shot this good..
