This is some chrono data from a load I worked down to attempting to get something really soft for a new shooter (new to centerfire, 22 pistol shooter),
It gave 100% function in my 9mm 1911.

The new EGW plate went in easy ( I had it in the freezer overnight), getting the XD sight out required me leaning on a 1/2" ratchet to get it started.:eek:
Way more force required than I would have expected. (and almost more than I was willing to use)
Pistol or rifle?
If pistol I would be tempted to get the progressive if you don't mind spending the money.
300 loads a month can easily turn into 500.....
If you go with a progressive I would strongly recommend the RCBS lockout die (for pistol) or a powder cop for rifle.

It appears the right side is a hair wider so Springfield appears to have got it correct left to right (from the rear).
Just had me concerned when they flipped their choice.

When facing the rear of the gun does it come out left to right or right to left?
I have seen both ways on different guns.
I have a 50% chance of getting it right, but I never had much luck gambling.:)
Called Springfield and CS hummed and hawed and said one direction then said on no the other...
Tried going to Hodgdon the other day but the site was down, up today
so I see they do have some data for 135s.
Once I get them loaded and tested I will update with vels.
Not much load data out there for 135gr 9mm bullets.
I would assume somewhere between 124s and 147s.
If anyone has any load data and chrono numbers using these I would appreciate it.
I just need to make say about 128 PF (125 with some wiggle room).
If can always start with 147 data and work up.
The way they ship them they are in childproof (post office proof) packages.
Not pretty but all that tape makes sure nothing escapes!
