    Who doesn't have an AR15?

Never been interested in one, and I fully expect my state to ban them someday anyway so would be a wasted investment.

Cleaning your guns or waste of time

I never learned a thing about cleaning guns until buying a black powder revolver. I clean that thing after every outing, it makes such a mess. Then I looked back on a childhood wondering why my 10/22 action got sticky after years of abuse and thousands of rounds, my Remington 760 .270 pump...

Carrying a self-defense gun while hunting

Man, where you are at where you have poachers with suppressed weapons and leopards to deal with? I'd like to make sure I'm not wandering around in your woods even with my .38spl...

    A wolf encounter

The only thing that could have made it a better story was if the kick he made to the wolf was a roundhouse and he was holding a pair of Uzi's. 'merica

    Rhino hunting

I liked the quote about the anti's opposing this sort of thing because that's how they make their money. The logic of this hunt on so many levels is easy to see, this was a really good article.

WA State: Federal Judge Dismisses Challenge to I-594

It will be nice if they ever actually do some clarification on "transfers". From the article; That's great and all, but my interpretation is that it is still a crime to share shotguns between friends out on your own property while shooting clay pigeons. Or any number of other common...

What aspects of shooting do NOT interest you?

AR's, 1911's, pretty much any semi-auto hand gun. I've always gravitated away from anything popular/mainstream. I like weird guns, weird cars, weird bikes, etc.

Can I take my friends shooting in WA?

My interpretation of the law is that if you are at a sanctioned shooting range/event then it is OK to share guns between friends. Out in the backwoods or even your own property you'd be engaged in criminal activity.:what: Pretty ridiculous and not a law I or anyone I know plan on ever adhering...

Review of Harbor Freight wall safe

Yeah I didn't realize HF would carry safes and thought ~$90 was a decent price at the time. A flat keypad/dial would really be nice but for the price it's workable.

Review of Harbor Freight wall safe

I had the same situation awhile back, toddler in the house and wanting a pistol loaded and accessible in case of emergency. I bought this one from Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Paragon-7750-Electronic-Wall-Safe/dp/B0040HS3QW/ref=pd_sim_sbs_op_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=0YWQ0D3NQ1APGEQK1DRT installed it...

when you defintly need a howda pistol

There are shots going off in that video, the cat doesn't even flinch. Terrifying! I was out shooting with some friends two weekends ago and one saw my BP revolver for the first time. We got to talking and I brought up the Howda. He showed me this video on youtube then and I literally had...

    The THR 1851/1860 Club

Here's my Pietta 1851 Navy. Not the best picture of it but everyone knows what they look like, at least this shows they can shoot!

Brassers, Pipe Bomb with a grip?

Well heck I'll keep shooting mine @ 24 grains then. As beautiful as it is we're talking about a $139 gun....and on top of that it shoots amazing. I had read some posts about the Colt repros being sighted for longer range so we set up a spinning .22 target and I drilled it at 75 yards 1 out of 6...

Brassers, Pipe Bomb with a grip?

When I bought all my BP stuff along with my brass 1851 Pietta one of the things purchased was a "Colt" repro powder flask. The nozzle is supposed to hold 24 grains and that's how I've always loaded it; fill nozzle, close it up and pour in. Is 24 grains too hot for the gun? I've shot it at least...

    Revolvers for lefties

I'm a leftie and have shot all kinds of guns all my life. I like the way my Colt Agent works, left finger pulls back the release, pop out the cylinder with right thumb, reach around with right index finger and dump empties into left hand and then reload with left hand, pop back in and go. The...
