Walther P99 AS .40. Rides on my hip in my home. My G34 is just as trustworthy, but not as easy to hide from the kids.

My PT1911 has been flawless, with a capital F. Mine is the homeland defender model with CT laser grips. I paid, if I recall correctly, $599. The CT's alone cost $250ish, so I think I got a smoking good deal.
