    Browning Eurobolt II

I think it was around $600. I have since traded it and the scope for a SOCOM 16.

    Browning Eurobolt II

Nice to know there are more Eurobolts out there. Mine is definitely a Eurobolt II, even though I can't seem to find much info on such a configuration ever being made (at least in the US). Thanks for sharing the photos, gents! I just mounted a Zeiss 4.5-14x44 tactical scope on it and will...

DPMS Sportical thread (pics & reports)

Yeah, that's what I've been seeing, Skidooman603. My son found one in a gun store in Utah for $995, put it down to call me to ask if I wanted it, to which I quickly said "ABSOLUTELY!". He turned back around to pick it up and buy it, only to find some other guy already buying it! This all...

The must-have gun to have in .40

For competition, I vote for the Beretta Model 96 Vertec in stainless. Flawless operation every time. Mag capacity could be better, though.... For carry, IMHO, I've seen nothing that compares to my S&W 4006 Performance Center "Shorty 40" Mk3 in stainless. Nice trigger, titanium barrel...

    Butt-cap medallions for Browning A-bolt?

Thanks Horsemany -- that's good advice. I hadn't thought of the devaluation aspect. That's partly why I've held back from accepting the Browning offer to have the bolt engraved with my name. Wouldn't help resell if I ever decided to do that.

Do you mind if I asked where you found one and what you paid? I'm still trying to find one myself, but don't want to pay an arm and a leg for it...

    Butt-cap medallions for Browning A-bolt?

Does anyone know if Browning ever offered, or if any after-market vendors currently offer, a "Buck-Mark" or other sort of medallion or cap that can be mounted to the butt-end of the pistol-grip of an A-bolt stock? I was looking to dress up my A-bolt "Euro Bolt" a bit, and help protect that...

The gun you most regret selling

Biggest gun sale regrets... Rifles? Probably my Winchester Trapper 30-30 1894-1994 Centennial edition, but it least it went to a friend who uses it on horseback out of a saddle scabbard in the mountains of Montana. Handguns? That would be my Walther TPH stainless (sold it way too cheap)...

    Browning Eurobolt II

Euro Bolt II in .308 w/BOSS I have one, too, that I really like. I can't seem to find any acknowledgement on the Browning web site or even it's own product tags ("...Available in 270 Win., 30-06 Sprg. and 7mm Rem. Mag.") about my particular .308 model. When I bought it I was told it was...
