Sparky, the problem is not a short chamber. The problem is the longer hulls won't eject due to the mechanism of the gun. When the gun is made to eject a 2 1/2 " hull, a 2 5/8 hull will be 1/8 " too long for the action to pull the shell all the way out, and the ejection port will be too short...

Bruz, you have a lot of help already. I use the abrasive rods from Brownells and a Dremmel in a small drill press. It's a lot less mess and works great. Good luck Ed
