    I don't understand California. The SP22 M1, M2, M3 don't have a threaded barrell so there is not a suppression option for them. I wonder if it is just all firearms are immediately put on the "assult weapons" ban and then they make the manufacturer jump through hoops.

    ShooterX: Yes it is funky looking. The first time I took it too the range, I must have had 10 or so people come up to me asking what it was. When it was purchased for me, she told the gun shop that I go to that she wanted to order "That new Walther, you know the one that looks like a Ray Gun"

    I have had the M2 version now for about 3 weeks. It is a nice smooth shooting pistol. Takes a little getting used to since it is Single Action, with a 2 stage trigger.

    I would think that to be a wise stance. I have only had one issue with my P22, but that was due to not cleaning it good enough after a weekend of heavy use. I also purchased mine after the clip issues were worked out. So far I have had no issues with the SP22, but I have not had it long...
