LOL! I did the *exact* same thing with the *exact* same holster. I have two now. One for my non-railed 229, and one for my 229R.

I split time between .357 Sig and .40 for my primary, and my everyday BUG is a .357 Magnum. I have another BUG in 9mm that I carry from time to time.

I almost always carry a BUG, and for the same reason I carry my primary. Two guns isn't any more difficult or any more of an inconvenience (for me) than one, and better to have it and not ever need it than to not have it and need it. I carry a Sig P229 IWB as my primary, and a S&W 340PD as...

Yep, Federal has several low-recoil .40 loads in their Premium Personal Defense line.

I've never had it happen with a semi-auto, but I've gotten keyholes from shooting standard pressure .38s out of my 340PD. From what I've read, it's not too uncommon in the AirLite 1-7/8" S&Ws.

I like it as well. This is the round that I carry in mine. I've tried it, and I like it. It's definitely hotter than the .38 +P (and makes me less accurate on follow-up shots with it, which is why I'm not carrying it and won't until I get enough practice to feel just as comfortable with it)...

No joy, I'm afraid. The 357/40 barrels won't fit in a 9mm slide.

I have one, and it's truly a duty holster. It sits pretty far off the hip, and so it really doesn't conceal well in most situations.
