I know others are experiencing this across the nation, and now it's finally hit home with me. Bout to head out of town and wanted to bond with my G23 for a little before I left. Well for the first time I stepped into Shoot Straight in Casselberry and they informed me they have no .40 caliber...
Thanks for your great response. I think you hit the nail on the head. Going to go with 2 Single pouches. I like the versatility aspect.
And thanks for the links as well. Checking out the products now.
I'm in the market for a IWB mag holster. Would love to bring my extra mags with me when carrying. I have 2 extra mags that came with my G23 so I was originally looking at double mag holsters.
But then someone mentioned that the rather large double mag holster can be quite uncomfortable. He...
I use the Hornady critical duties with the red rubber tip too, helps from clothing and other materials clogging the HP and causing it to not function and expand as it should. Heard this can be an issue with some low weighted HSTs like the federal 135 hst
When I go with a different HP I feel like one full mag should be ample test for functioning and so you can feel the different load being fired. If you decide to stick with that exact ammo type over long period of time I would occasionally run another mag of the HPs.
Sounds about right considering the ammo situation now. I have a few local ranges I shoot at and their white box .40 ammo is 19-21$ a box of 50 depending on where I go. It's getting so damn expensive to shoot now, SMH. And Wally World stops before range for better prices are now fruitless
Hey wondering if any fellow Glockers joined the new Glock ID website? Site opened yesterday to "early adopters". Checked it out and had some cool features(love the "Glock Safe" section w/ range report and target upload features) but also has some major work If it wants to compete in the forum...
Hey wondering what everyone's take on these signs that people post on their doors and lawns
Obviously these are only 2 of many examples but this is the idea.
I feel in cases it can act as a deterrent to scare of would-be BGs who do not feel like chancing their life that night. But I also...
10-4 and thank you again. Knowledge is power and now I'm a little better off now. Not to mention avoid being assaulted by the terminology police in the future.
And it's time for the student to teach the teacher. I will be taking this info back to the friend who told me the previously incorrect...
Yeah I know that part as mentioned in earlier post. I said clips either feed fixed magazines, or you insert a detachable magazine.
But how do you know if a rifle has an attached magazine and therefore takes a clip or if it takes a detachable magazine.
I do appreciate you taking time to...
So is a mag an enclosed case and a clip is open and usually in stripper clips? Thanks for the pic, makes understanding easier. Been trying to educate myself on the differences. I guess more is in store lol
And How can I forgot the good ol M1. Thanks for the refresher.
Most garands are bolt action what are you talking about. Or stripper clips. I was always told A clip is a feeding device that feeds the "fixed magazine" in rifles. Detachable magazines are for handguns. Please clarify if I'm Wrong because i don't want to commit one of the 7 deadliest sins...
Wow had an amazing day at the local outdoor range! Had a whole pavilion to ourselves for our shooting fun.
Got some good work on the new Glock 23 Gen4. Put another 100 rounds of perfection throught it. Used some Winchesters. Man it shoots like a friggin dream. Accuracy is so impressive...
just got a G23 and looking to pick up a quick holster for now. Then in a 2-3 months (when my concealed permits hopefully arrives) going to invest in a top quality IWB holster. But for now I saw on glock.com homesite they sell their basic "sport" holster for only 14$. Thats a killer deal. or is...
