I'm like that too. When I'm done I'm done. I've gone through an entire brick of 22 in an afternoon a few times, rarely more than that. If I'm working up a handload I may just go shoot 10 or 15 rounds. I'd say average day, typical gun, somewhere between 200 and 500 rounds.
It's always been that way. More people get permits/licenses than actually carry. I have no idea what percentage of new permit holders are carrying, nor whether or how that ratio might have changed. I doubt it's dropped to 0% though, so I'm confident that the number of people carrying in the U.S...

So, just as I predicted, there will be no confiscation. Just like I predicted, Obama is acting all outraged over it. I also predicted that he would use an Executive Order, Eric Holder, the ATF, or some other underhanded method to further encroach on our rights. I stand by that prediction.
This is exactly what I tell my students. I also tell them the next time they read about one of these instances, count how many rules were broken. It's almost always more than one, or it wouldn't have made the news. Often it's all of them.
