I'd go with a Cetme or Valmet myself.

+1 on dusting off the old .22 I'd try and find an outdoor range that is cool with plinking tin cans as well.

I've used these stick on glow sights before. nitesiters Although, I had a gf who had WHITE polish once. I painted the frt sights of my range 1911s with it. White worked really well.

GSG5? What a terrific .22! My last one was a wonder-nine. A NIB cz75 retro. I got it to replace my first wonder-nine (Jericho 941) which I regretted selling. The CZ more than fits the bill. Love it!

As the AR and Glock represent modern (space age) materials, they'd be the only ones I have if forced to choose. Firearms are primarily tools to me. However, I love the old school feel of 1911 handguns and AK rifles.
