    DMB Leatherworks

No, though thanks for the heads up on that place. I have never seen that place before, but this guy wasn't from TX, it was a one person shop. If I remember correctly he did some fly fishing leather work as well as his holsters. His name was Doyle. His website is closed down now, so he might...

    DMB Leatherworks

Anyone know what happened to that company? I have a holster of his and it's wonderful, and was looking at getting another one but I can't find his contact info nor his website anymore. Thanks for the help. Andrew

Holster options for Pistol w/ light

I have a Glock 22 and a Streamlight TLR-1 combo that I would like a "concealable" holster for. Anyone out there have a holster set up for that combo? If so, what has worked and what hasn't? It just seems like there aren't that many options out there for that combo. Blade Tech makes one, but...

    Gun w/light rail ?

One thing about the HK's though, it's a different type of rail than everyone else uses, at least the USP series. I believe GG&G has a adapter. The P2000 series uses a standard rail. Andrew

    TLR-1

Not sure if this will help, but I have one (TLR-1) on my HK P2000, seems like a good, well made, and affordable. It does have a "key" that allows you to change the position of the light on the rail. Maybe that will help? Andrew

    Tell me about Kahr firearms

I had one failure with my PM9. It was a failure to go into battery. It was with the first magazine of some 9mm +p Ranger ammo. I've fired more rounds of that stuff through it now and haven't had any issues with it since. I've fired probably 500 rounds of WWB ammo and no issues. Unlike what...

Some see Fresno's DUI crackdown as a model

So if they make money off the arrests, then they're just trying to get more money. If it costs the city money then we blame them for wasting tax dollars. Oh well. Andrew

Some see Fresno's DUI crackdown as a model

Wow, someone(Tall Man) just admitted to committing a felony and no one even mentioned it that I could see. Sad, oh well. Everyday my respect for the legal and political area is reduced. I have zero respect for people that run from the police. It's too bad the penalty is as low as it is...

    Critique my AR-15 plan

I doubt many, if any, of the free float AL. rails will be lighter that the standard A2 plastic handguards. DD lite rails are the lightest, but not cheap. I have a PRI free float rail, and it's nice, but probably not worth the money. PRI also makes a free float tube that doesn't have the rail...

    Critique my AR-15 plan

While I don't have one, Midwest Industries makes a free float rail system that doesn't require you to remove the fsb. The price is reasonable and I have one of their rear sights and it's well made. Worth looking into. Andrew

Flip up rear sight for flat top AR

Possum I believe that is a Matech rear sight. Never used one, but they seem like a good design. I've read that the clamp screw is a weak point in the design. Andrew

Flip up rear sight for flat top AR

I have the Midwest Industries rear sight folding sight (MCT (ERS)). Seems well built to me. Easy to use and very reasonable in price. Haven't had any problems with it. I just purchased a Knight's 600 meter rear sight. I haven't had a chance to use it, so I don't know how good it is. I...

Putting an Aimpoint onto a flat-top

I second Larue. I use the LT129. Awesome mount, rock solid and well made. The LT129 gets the Aimpoint a bit farther forward. Andrew

Weapons cache found in traffic stop

I don't think anyone has advocated stopping someone without a legal reason. Depending on the particular state's traffic code, you could be stopped for swerving. From reading the small article, there doesn't seem to be a sign that they lied and invented (meaning that the person did not violate...

First AR: Armalite M-15A4 National Match Vs Bushmaster V-Match 20"

I can't really comment on the Bushmaster, but I have an Armalite upper with a Stainless heavy barrel. Good upper, well made and reliable. It's a flattop with a railed gas block. I haven't put any iron sights on it. On my colt At4 carbine, I've ditched the carry handle and installed an MI...
