Hi,
I have a friend moving from Florida to Chicago (don't ask why) who currently has a carry permit. What is the process to own a gun and carry in Chicago.
Thanks!
you'll get some gas leakage with the .308's but they will shoot fine just down a tad on velocity with a similar .310 load. I've been loading for my 7.62 AR for time.
Been using lee mold for years. The tumble lube design as I was using the 40/40/10 lube and all the smell and smoke. I'm trying coating out as this is the hobby part but I will buy if I d any quality. I even have the lee slug mold and they all work 100%
actually I spoke with Donnie at Bayou - I'm one of the people with already not enough on my plate to coat my own. He said that softer lead was fine but adding some wheel weights would form in the mold better. He said his bullets where about 8 bhn.
its really not about how hard the coating is it is how well does it obturate in the barrel when fired. The coated lead act just like lead and the plated (especially xtremes) in between lead and jacketed.
Actually flat points are more so the oal does not exceed the magazine fit and overpressure the load. Think USPSA loading, specifically with a Glock compared to a 2011. 40 is based on a 9mm. FPs won't do any more significant than a RN.
Both Wolf and Tula are manufactured by the same plant (Murmon sp?). They are larger and a pain to seat in a progressive. I have used the SP And SPM's - which my competition Glocks had problems setting off but my Brazo's and STI guns have had zero issues with.
I just shot the Area 6 USPSA...
