Ok then so if the ejector doesn't lock in place when the block comes up empty there is still a problem? So my only problem can be the ejector catch since I need an additional .008 to have it lock into place. The ejector is new.
I changed the ejector it was worn, and reassembled rifle. I believe I did it properly. My question is what actually resets the ejector?. When you open the lever, you hit the trip bar with rolling block and the ejector opens. The block is down, you put a round in the chamber and pull lever up...
Not hard, kind of like the trouble you go thru buying a house I'd say. I mean paperwork wise talking to people and staying on top of things. But hard? Nah, not no much and, I didn't experience some of the horror stories that some people speak of. But the year is young. ;)
Luckily, I'm not in it for the money. Just want to slowly get out of my day job (auto tech for 20 years) and make the same living I did and maintain long enough to get kids out (oh I meant thru school) and get some land with a tent on it and retire.

Don't want to jump the gun yet (no pun intended). But the ATF agent was really cool (Indiana is a very pro firearm state) and he was talking to me like When you do business, and WHEN you do this, and he said I'll have my license in 2 weeks tops. So I'm trying to get prepared. Wholesaler...
Just curious, where would a begining home dealer post questions? Im a home dealer/"gunsmith" and I will have a TON of questions within the next couple of weeks.

@sauer1911. LOL yes it is, just when I think I've made a solid decision, I find something else to dwell on. I though the FNH FNX was gonna be it but, I keep reading some bad things about the design. Stupid stuff like the backstrap clips breaking and other odds and ends. So the FNX is OUT. I...
