Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm leaning towards a scope because of the magnication. I've got terrible eyes and have had to scope all the rifles that I hunt with as well over the past year.
Picked up a Sheridan Blue Streak tonight. Got it from the original owner who bought it new in the 70's. Some wear and tear but looks good and functions perfectly.
Hi all,
I've decided to scope my Buckmark 22 but I know next to nothing about pistol scopes, especially for a 22lr. Main uses are squirrel hunting and plinking.

Colt 70 Series made around 1978. Even with crappy GI sights it shot exactly where you aimed. Regretfully sold it when I needed money more than a great gun.
Good buy! That's the going rate for a used 228 around here. Local shop had a very worn police trade-in with dead sights marked for $400 that sold in two days and I've seen a couple on local forums recently go for $450-500.
My current EDC is a 638 but the action and trigger on the 36 is so smooth it makes the 638 feel like it was made in the stone age. I'm not a fan of an exposed hammer on a pocket gun which is why I ordered the bobbed hammer.
I just ordered a factory bobbed hammer for this little 36 no dash beauty. I'll get a pic up once the new hammer is on and I've decided on what grips to go with her.
During daylight hours it's whatever I'm carrying but at night it's a Winchester 1300 12ga loaded buckshot/slug/buckshot and a Sig SP2022 with night sights that lives in my nightstand.
My family is related to Davy Crockett, his sister's family is traceble all the way to the current generation. My greatgrandmother was a Crockett.
When I was in elementary school I told people I was related to Zorro!
