    3D Printing Stocks

I don't know about wood resins, but I've printed a combined pistol grip and stock from ABS, and it works pretty well - no cracking or warping at all. The printing costs themselves are almost negligible, it's the printer that costs a lot.

    Mosin Accuracy

My friend had a captured 1915 Westinghouse Mosin rifle some years ago, it had lousy accuracy but was probably just worn out from heavy use. I bet the weapon would've had stories to tell. Unfortunately my friend loaned the gun to some drunk idiot, the cops confiscated the rifle, and most likely...

Why aren't electronic/magnified sights standard on guns?

Back to the original question: I guess optics are sold separately, because people want to buy them separately. Personal preference and all that. You really can't make a good "all-purpose for all people" scope.

Air/pellet pistol in the house for post-surgery entertainment?

Get an electric airsoft pistol, they're really cheap to shoot and usually have large magazines, and can be fired full auto as an added bonus (in case you get bored). A CO2 model works fine also. Ordinary pellet guns tend to leave lead shavings and dust all around the pellet trap.

    Blow Up A Gun... Experience?

I saw a banana-peeled RK-62 in the army. Someone had fired a live round with the blank adapter on.

    The future of firearms

I think the next step will be eliminating human error from aiming, meaning computerized sights and guided bullets. The technologies already exist. Also, all kinds of less than lethal weapons for police use.

Just bought mag for gun I don't have, have you?

I buy Sten gun, DP and AK mags every now and then, because they're dirt cheap from surplus stores. They tend to end up in art projects.

    Fire mission for European readers

Because most of the Europe considers firearms as a privilege, not a right, all gun laws are considered a good thing by the majority. Even voicing a different opinion is considered weird in many places, and labels the person as a violent redneck.

British SAS to go back to 7.62

The "funny" part is that restrictions on bullet technology date back to the 19th century, 1868 if I'm correct, and later in 1899 - days when military conflicts still consisted largely of troops standing in lines on a field and shooting at each other. Maybe, just maybe, in the time of smart...

Is every male in Mid East Deaf

All WW2 veterans I knew had some sort of hearing damage, so yeah.

    Gun of choice, bovine slaughter?

I'd go for a captive bolt gun, preferably Blitz-Kerner with the red rounds. No risk of collateral damage, and has also better ergonomics than a firearm for slaughtering purposes.

If you could only have TWO guns, what would they be?

If I could have even one gun, it would be a smoothbore flintlock muzzleloader. Can't get much more versatile than that. For a second gun I'd take a Mosin-Nagant M39, as they're really nice to shoot, ammo is readily available, and they also have historic value. Due to the laws where I live, I...

    What is an assult rifle?

An assault rifle is a select-fire, intermediate cartridge rifle with a pistol grip. "Assault weapon" is a term meaning "evil-looking gun."

    Could your weapon handle this?

-30 celsius takes it's toll on mechanical parts - a couple of years ago my bike's rear hub froze solid and a pot metal brake handle snapped during a nice winter night. A low-quality gun might shatter in those conditions. Stuff with too tight tolerances also tend to jam, so run-in your guns...

“Natural” skill and your limiting factor to becoming a better shot?

Bad eyesight and shaky hands limit my accuracy to a certain level. I'm content with it.
