Very nice builds! Where did you pick up the USGI barrel? I had a source for a couple but they were quite pricey and I had already bottom a barrel for the build. I used a solid stock as well. Simple and reliable.

Be careful taking the 99 apart. The screws are "staked" and removing them can reduce some of the value.

Unfortunately only 25yds. That's the longest range we have in the area, until just recently I found out about an outdoor range that just opened to the public that extends out to 200yds, so I'll be hitting that next!

My optic is a Lucid HD7 red dot type, and I run the Acog type crosshair. I know this isn't ideal for precision shooting, but right now most of my hog engagements are at roughly 150-200 yards and as close as 10-20, so until I reach a place where I can hunt longer distances, the Lucid is ideal for me.
