Even with the larger frame on the Witness, trigger reach is still less than on my CZ 75B. Much of this has to do with the shape of the trigger. On my CZ P-01 trigger reach is less than that on my 75B, but I think tht has more to do with the decocker feature.

The Witness trigger reach is also shorter than the CZ making the first DA shot easier to control. This is a moot point if you carry cocked and locked. Overall I've had good experience with the Witness line of pistols, but for match competition the CZ 75 in the SP-01 version or the CZ85 would be...

Not sure, but I think they plan on calling the .45ACP the AR-26 and plan to build the .40S&W version on it. If so then a 10MM is likely in the future too. I have the AR-24 and it's better than the current CZ75B, but not the CZ85 or Custm Shop SP-01. Both of the latter two have better triggers...

I think Springfield XD biggest problem when it comes to LE Sales has to due with it being classified as a SA instead of a DA. Even with the grip safety that turns off alot of LE.

I own both and recommend the HK for CCW. It will cost you more, but I believe it to be better in reliability, accuracy and the HK to be more shooter friendly in my hands. Also the HK allows for "cocked and locked" in many versions.
