    Caution while building my first 1911?

    I have finally decided that I want to have a custom 1911 that I have designed. I have selected Caspian parts, particularly the slide. I want a 5in slide in Damascus. I will probably go with a Caspian frame as well. Any advice for this kid? Gilgamesh
