    For a hunting rifle what would be your choice of only one hunting rifle?

    For Upstate N.Y. 35/336 Marlin. I guess my 270 Rem 700 would fit the bill for anything else.

    I acquired a Marlin 336 in 35 Remington last week.

    Great rifle and cal. I have been using the 336/35 Rem Cor-Lokt 200gr since 1973. It has never failed. Mild recoil, easy to point.. (dead deer). Good luck with it.

    Anniversary of D-Day

    WOW !!!! Great stories. I was always fascinated by the old WWII movies especially watching that one movie I think Gregory Peck was in 12 O'clock High. The poor guys from the 8th Air Force flying thru that flack is just mind boggling the stress had to be overwhelming. Thanks for sharing the stories.

    Colt Detective Special

    Hey jtsteiert, Very nice Colt Det Spec. I am just wondering what type of ammo you use if you use it for ccw. I only shot mine with range ammo and I have a box of +P ammo and I am not sure about using that type. I have a 1966 and I do use it for ccw.
