What's the worst shotgun you've ever owned...

Stevens 311 16gauge. It would not shoot a good pattern, would not shoot where you aimed it, and took about three shots to each squirrel/rabbit. I had a Baikal 20 that would never miss, sold it to buy the Stevens. What an idiot.

    Sig Sauer

I love my Sigs. I've had Glocks, XDs/XDMs, SWs, Taurus, Kimbers, and Rugers. Today, I own only two a p239 and a p228r. I've never had a single issue with any pistol I've ever owned. Not one FTF or FTE. I like the sigs because of quality, fit, finish, and trigger. Sure, some people don't...

    BUSHMASTER at Gander Mt .

Mine is my dedicated varmint rifle since it is light weight. I don't think I'd want it in Iraq, but it's good for vermin. I've never had an issue with mine.

Need help with Glock 27 valuation.

Ok, thanks guys. I've got a trade offer and wanted to make sure it was in line. I've decided to switch over to the .40 Glocks, but now I'm worried about if I need to go ahead with new gen 4's or the gen 3's and let the gen 4's prove themselves for a year or two more. Decisions, decisions...

Shipping a rifle at the post office

Ok, so I'm confused...I want to purchase a used rifle from an individual within the state of Tennessee to be shipped to me on the other end of Tennessee. Can he ship it to me via USPS? I'm confused by the whole ship to self vs transfer jazz. In the state of Tennessee, there is no registration...

Any dream calibers that don't exist?

Jim-- In Tennessee, you can only varmint/predator hunt with rimfire, shotgun, or whatever is legal for deer during the season in which you are hunting. So , if it's bow season, no centerfire allowed. If it's black powder, no centerfire allowed. During rifle season, you can hunt with a...

Actually, the Winchester SXAR comes in .308. CDNN Investments was running them for $999 bucks a while back. Standard Winchester SXR's are in 30.06, .270, 300wsm, and .270wsm. The SXR's can be had for around $600 on gunsamerica.com.

I bought a used Browning A-Bolt .22lr today and I can't find alot of info on them. How can you tell the difference between the gold medallion and the standard? Was there a I and a II? What weaver style bases would I use to mount a scope? I'll take any info to help me know about my purchase...

    A Question for Shade-Tree Gunsmiths...

I was just wondering about all these wssm's and wsm's that will be obsolete with no available factory ammo in a few years and had a question. Could a bolt in say .223 wssm be converted to a standard caliber for a reasonable price? I honestly don't know what you could do with the chamber and...

    What Semi-auto .308 should I buy?

I think a Winchester SX AR is on my "soon to buy" list. CDNN has them for less than $1k. I don't think they made a standard SXR in .308, but I'm not sure.

Researching a Project and Need Help

I've Googled, Yahooed, and Gunbrokered. Gunbroker had one stock, but it was used and I'd like to keep them matching. The .243 is my critter getter and helps with the 30.06 for bigger game.

Researching a Project and Need Help

I've got a couple of matching model 70's from the 80's. They are "ranger" models with hooded front sites and basic wood stocks. Well, I love them. I'm thinking about dressing them up with new stocks after Christmas, but I'm not having much luck. One is in 30.06 and the other in .243, so...
