I have to pick one tomorrow!!!Advice

I own both the Sig and the Ruger. The Ruger is a very nice revolver - built like a tank and it will last forever. For me anyway, it would be too heavy for everyday carry, though it would be fine for the occasional carry in the woods, etc. I like the Sig P239 alot. Not the most compact...

How long did it take to process your CCW application?

The cost in Weld County CO was also $152.50. At least renewal is only $38 (as long as you don't let it lapse).

    Walked away & kicking yourself

Two - about ten years ago at a gun show I ran across a beautiful .380 pistol (can't remember brand - S&W I think, but not sure). Nickel, with fantastic wood grips. Fit my hand nicely, too. But I didn't want .380. STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!. I can still see it in my mind. Hope to run across it...

Sent a letter to the Attorney General this morning. Plan to email Gov Dave this weekend. While I live in Colorado, I have land in Wyoming, so I hope they recind this stupidity. I'll keep on them too.

    Ease of .22lr pistol disassembly/reassembly

I used to own a Ruger 22/45 .22lr pistol. Hated to clean it. When the manufacturer instructions reference wooden dowels and hammers for disassembly/reassembly, well, it just doesn't seem right. Since I hated to clean it, I didn't shoot it. Finally sold it. I've got the itch now to buy...

It is going to take 6 months to get my CCW!

7 days down, 83 to go in Weld County... That whole appointment thing is a bit bizarre. In Weld County you just show up at the Sheriff's office with all the paperwork and money. They have you sign the form in their presence, and that's it - the wait begins. I guess Araphahoe County would...
