    Got my suppressor back today. Looks great and sounds good. I would say an 18 day turn around for repair and refinishing isn't bad at all. Thanks go out to the crew at YHM!

    I had this happen with a form 1. It happens a lot and I don't think it's the post office. I don't think they make it to the post office.

    Talked to the folks at YHM today. Suppressor is repaired and getting refinished. Should be back to me sometime next week:)

    Suppressor was delivered to them this past Thursday. Haven't heard anything from them yet. I'll wait a couple more days then call if I haven't heard anything yet.

    Here's some pics of the damage done. The part with the threads stayed on the barrel and was tight. No sign of a baffle strike. In the close up photo you can see how clean the break is. Almost like it was cut.

    My stainless steel Phantom 556 come apart yesterday. The threaded part was still on the barrel and the rest went down range. Doesn't look like a baffle strike not really sure what happened. Anyway I'm sending it back today. Anybody have any experience sending stuff back to YHM for warranty? Thanks

    SOCOM 16 I should have got a Scout or AR-10 type rifle. Walther P 22 Internet pics of blowups made me sell it. GSG 5 Fun to play with but that is about it.

    In all Fairness......... (Taurus)

    I'm waiting for a Taurus 66 4" to come in to my dealer now. It will be my first Taurus and my first 7 shot revolver. I'm hoping I don't have to experience their CS. I had a Llama 44mag that shot well so I figured I try a Taurus.

    Does Duracoat hold up to gunscrubber?

    I've cleaned my duracoated 1911 with CRC Brake clean and it didn't hurt it.
