A pretyy easy anwser IMHO. M14 chambered in 30-06... with an 18in barrel... Enough stopping power at all distances and able to add forward optics. Reliable as all hell. M14 fanboy:neener:

As of right now I am doing small jobs on weapons of friends. So I am getting that bit of hands on stuff before and during schooling. Should I just continue on that road? Maybe using the vids as basic points to go from? I can get most of the courses from AGI for free.
