I had the same issue with my SPS in 300 WSM. I swaped the flimsy factory stock for a H.S. Precision and it solved the issue.

I had a one of the first generation Sigma's. To this day its the only gun I have sold. I had constant problems with the slide locking back with rounds left in the magazine.

rg1, Thank you for the info. I have a friend an old timer who taught me how to reload and he has many reloading books from far back as the 50's. From what i have seen many of the new manuals are conservative with max loads.

theweej, I have been through 200 rounds of Berry's in my Glock 22, also using unique. i have never got any great results. I have tried every thing i could think of, seating depth, charge weight, amounts of crimp. nothing worked for me so i stopped using them.
