last question, is there a good place to find an original HS barrel to get it back to original? I've seen one on ebay, but it doesn't say when it was made.
I've poured through numerous posts and read everything I can find about the different barrel markings for my 1943 RR. I can't find anything that matches my barrel and I'd just like to authenticate the gun. All the frame and slide markings check out.
My barrel says "45 AUTO 7791193" on top...
