    The Hi-Point Throwdown

I was browsing the Hi Point forum and saw someone found a way to add optic sights to his c9. Think he might have screwed up his rear sights though.

You know you are a GUN NUT if...

Your wife asks if you have cleared out the garage yet. You reply one second honey, as you rack your 870... ---------------------------------------------------- In case of a home invasion you may need to breech your own doors..

People with guns who never shoot?

Shooting is an expensive sport/hobby. I see nothing wrong in the person who buys a gun and shoves it into a drawer for years on end. I would rather they be armed than not. Thats good... Whats better though is the person who takes the gun out to the range a few more times to make sure...

People with guns who never shoot?

People with guns who never shoot? I'll use my uncle as an example. He purchased a S&W revolver chambered in .32 caliber. Took it to the range with a box of 50 rounds and in his words "Learned how to use it". I know for a fact he hasn't been back to the range or fired his revolver for...

    The Hi-Point Throwdown

Never apologize for posting good gun pics :D Back to the thread.. I personally don't care now how this competition turns out now. The Hi Point hung with the big boys and thats good enough for me. What other gun thats NIB in the $150 range can do this? I think that speaks volumes here.

    The Hi-Point Throwdown

I read a lot of posts about how a Hi Point is..bulky, heavy and not good for CCW at all. Are you really sure its that bulky and heavy? Next time your in a gun store see if you can compare a C9 to a Glock, XD or Sigma. The C9 is almost identical to the Glock 36, which is a .45 but they...

    The Hi-Point Throwdown

While my plan is to get something better later. Don't see myself parting with the Hi Point either. I like to go hiking, camping and I won't be taking a high priced pistol out on my adventures.

    Hi Points and Rust?

I didn't want to hi-jack the other thread but, since I live in a fairly humid place I was wondering how Hi Points would hold out against rust? The frame is polymer and the slide is zamak? How would that be against rust? anyone? Hamsen

    Buying a Hi Point

Sheepdog1968, Thing is this is not my first firearm. I would say down on my luck a bit but, due to this economy its more like "a lot". In fact I was forced to sell my guns to pay the bills. Basically, I wanted some feedback and I guess a little encouragement. I know its not the top...

    Cost of shooting

Claude, I didn't count your bulk 22 but it looks like you shot 1,050 centerfire rounds for a cost of $135 dollars..or .13 cents a round. I have to admit .13 cents a round is great considering you shot some expensive calibers like .357 and .45 1,050 rounds of rimfire would have been...

    Cost of shooting

While browsing the ammo rack at one of my favorite stores I begin to think about economics and the cost of shooting. I was looking at a 550 bulk pack of .22lr that was priced a hair over $15 dollars. That comes out to 2 cents a round, well 3 cents if I round it up. So say I spend $15...
