Do you prefer revolvers for one purpose and Semi's for another?

All my .22 Caliber Pistols are Revolvers, auto loaders have no soul. S&W .22/32 6" Target with a BOD of 1938 (Hierloom) S&W Model 63-4 (The new 8 shot in SS) For social work I prefer auto loaders in 9MM or .40 (XD or Glock) I'm a south paw so the Church of 1911 is lost to me.

    SHTF Rifle Poll

For a short term scenario like most folks who posted before me, some type of AR-15 or AK variant. If the GOV ends up to be a problem, not a solution, and overt possession of military type semi autos becomes a problem, then go with a bolt action .308 or .223. Keep lots of ammo on hand...

    Old S&W 32-20

Great feedback everyone! I will wait for the new ammo and get rid of the old stuff. I got a history letter on my 32/22 so this one is next. I need to take it home and use my dad's digital camera for the S&W paperwork. (my next inheritance project is an 1878 Colt DA Thunderer in 41 Long...

    Old S&W 32-20

S&W 1905 32-20 revolvers I'm about ready to order a couple of boxes of Black Hills 32-20 115 grain Cowboy ammo. I'm (overly?) worried that I might blow up my cylinder at the range shooting the new ammo. I'm cofident that won't happen, but you never know. Better to be safe that sorry. I...

Lessons learned from recent NO bug-outs

bug out, trapped, worth your job? Looking at the news, I'm wondering why everyone decided to leave Houston all at once. (Relatively speaking..) I suspect most people’s employers would not "suspend operations", unless the local government told them too. As in: evacuate.. That means if...

    Remington 341-P Sportmaster

Remington 341P I inheirited my grandfather's 341P in 2004. He was a farmer in Tulare California. Based on my research it was manufactured in August of 1937. (barrel markings decoded) It sold new for $14.40. It's about 90% all around. Probably spent the last 20 years in the hall closet at...
