    AR-24 owners

My AR-24 prefers 124 over 115 by far. Loading anything larger than 124 without being concerned about pressure (due to low COAL) is difficult.

MR Baby Eagle or Armalite AR-24

I've never owned the Baby Eagle (worst name for a pistol EVER) but I've put thousands of rounds through an Armalite. The AR-24 can be had brand new for 350-400 easily if you look around a bit, which is an absolute steal. If you buy one, buy the "tactical" version for the adjustable sights...

New loader looking for input on equipment list

Hondo- Yeah, the name is pretty dumb. It's a holdover from my gaming days and is purposely misspelled for reasons that make absolutely no sense now. Ive been a lurker for a long time and have actually had an account for a while. I don't post much because there is far more for me to learn...

New loader looking for input on equipment list

Thanks for the replies. Yes, the kit is for the 4 hole and not the Classic, which I did not know there was a difference in until just now. Thanks for pointing that out. Definitely getting the classic. Though it does not appear that midway sells the classic as a kit, so I will have to pick up...

New loader looking for input on equipment list

I am brand new to loading and have been doing some research online and with some local shooters but thought I would throw this out to THR for opinions. I am looking to shoot/load ~500 9mm rounds (.45, .40 and .38 in the future) and a few hundred rifle rounds (.223, 30-30 and .270) per month...

    Don't buy K31's...

Just picked up a Walnut K-31 in great shape this week for 275. Shot it today and I LOVE this rifle. It just balances so well and shoots like a dream. Now I just have to learn to shoot worth a damn w/ iron sights.

Elementary School teacher with a SA Colt .45 revolver on his desk...

About 10-11 years ago when I was in H.S. We were allowed to have unloaded shotguns and rifles secured in the truck. After Columbine that all ended however. After that, simply having a pocket knife was an expulsion. This was rural Florida.

    holsters for Armalite AR-24s

Just picked up this pistol and I have to say, it feels great. Shes heavy as a brick, but the ergonomics are incredible. Did a quick search and saw that some people were able to make a SIG 220 holster work and I found this...

    can't shoot my revolver accurately

Thanks for the replies. I have been shooting .38s because .357s are a hot commodity around here. I am quite sure the gun is accurate, I know it is me. I just don't understand how i shoot my .45s and .40 decent enough but not the .357 I like the idea of putting the blanks in, I'm going to...

    New Mosquito sucked

The pistol just sucks plain and simple. Bought one for my wife, broke it down, cleaned and lubed per instructions, fired CCI mini-mags, put several thousands rounds through it and still SUCKS. I have tried new guide rod springs from SIG, I have tried higher velocity bullets, I even sacrificed...

    can't shoot my revolver accurately

I have a Ruger GP100 .357 revolver that was passed down to me by my mother. It was her service pistol while she was a police officer and she qualified with it each month or so. When she retired she gave the revolver to me, this was about 8-10 years ago. I have never really shot it much...

    Any comments about Sig-Sauer Mosquito?

My wife really wanted a pink gun (I know, I know) and we came across a pink Mosquito at a show. I knew nothing about it, but the ergonomics were great, the controls were excellent and its a SIG, so its got to be quality right? WRONG! It never even occured to me that a SIG could possibly be so...

    When to shoot.......?

If and only if you feel as though there is a risk of great bodily harm to yourself or someone near you (last part depends on state). At least thats the only way i would pull the trigger. The person has to have the intent and ability to hurt you. If they have those things and the above criteria...

    Confronting Drunk Trespassers and Vandals

So many of you keep forgetting that the homeowner was attacked on his porch, that is a forced felony. Drunks could have left at any time. These took me all of 5 minutes to find. If I were interested in spending any more time (I think I am done with this thread) I could fill a page with case law...
