Kimber is a fine gun,but a little to big and heavy for ankle carry imo. I think going with a off duty gun that is similiar to your duty gun is your best bet. You will already be use to the glock style and glock makes smaller 45s that would fit a ankle holster if that is the way you plan to ccw
