    Plinkerton 22Revolver

I looked at a Cimmaron Arms 22 Single Action Revolver at Academy Sports the other day. Not a bad looking revolver. Size and weight of the center fire revolvers with a matte finish. Long rifle and magnum cylender for less that $200. Question is, has anyone had any time with this revolver...

    Colt peacemaker clone

I bought the Uberti about a year ago. Beautiful and shoots great. I looked at the Vaquero for a long time, and finally decided on the U for reason of price. Color case hard frame looks good and feels just the same. I got mine in 45 Colt. Would definitely be interested in another one for the...

Well it time to reload---Multiple Caliber...

I love Winchester 231 for almost all of my pistols. Except for the big magnums. As for rifle, I use more Hodgdon 4350 than anything. That is in the 243, 6.5x55. 30-06, and 300 Win. Mag. Pistols include 32 acp, 38 spl, 357 mag, 9mm, 9mm mak, 40 s&w, 45 acp, and even the 45 colt. There are...

    .45ACP - What's you favorite powder?

I use exclusively Winchester 231 in my Norinco and Para Ordnance LTC. Home cast 200 grain semi wadcutter with 5.3 gr shoots accurate in both. Hard to beat in my opinion. good shooting

    Uberti SAA

I got a hankering for a single action revolver. I have been looking at the Ruger Vaquero and the Beretta Stampede. Lately I have noticed the Uberti. Nice gun and even better price. Has anyone had any first hand experience with these? they seem well made and have a good feel. Would sure...

    22 Revolver

I inherited a High Standard Longhorn. 22/22Mag with 9 1/2 inch barrel. Shoots fantastic and the odd thing is that this single action has a swing out cylender. Different, but shoots great.

    How old is this Colt?

How can I find out the date of manufacture on a Colt Army Special double action revolver in 41 Long Colt? Is there a website with that info?

    Uberti Single Action?

I have been kicking around getting a single action revolver...colt clone. I found a Uberti at the local shop at a good price. Are the Ubertis as well made as the Ruger Vaquero or the Beretta Stampede? I have had none of this brand, but surely someone out there has some insight. Should I jump...

    Melting lead - melter question

I have a Lee ten pounder. Works great, no problems, except for the little Lee Drip. But if I was looking for a replacement or just getting started I would definitely go with the twenty pound bottom pour. RCBS, Lyman, or Lee all would be good choices.

What's the "Unique" of the rifle powders?

I use more of H4350 than anything else. 243, 6.5x55, 30-06 and 300 win mag.

    Powder that flows like water

I have a Ruger M77 in 223 and have used H335 with good results. Flows very well. But when I switched to Hodgdon Benchmark, which by the way, flows great in my RCBS powder measure, group sizes went down to very pleasing little groups. There are a number of good powders for the 223, but I will...

    454 Casull & Starline Brass

I had the exact same problem with my super redhawk. It did not matter if I used my own reloads using 30.5 grains H110 and 300 grain home cast or if I used factory ammo. I called Ruger, and they had me send the pistol back in with spent brass from the gun. They cleaned up the holes in the...

    Reload Data for 460 S&W

Thanks for the quick reply. You say H110 does not work well in the 460. I just figured it would be a good choice for a magnum round. And about the cast bullet. What bullet and load would you recommend? I am open for suggestions. I have not shot or reloaded for this one yet. Always up for...
