To the original poster... what you've gotten here is skewed partisan opinion on what the terms mean. If you are really curious, do some googling on Progressivism and Liberalism. Teddy Roosevelt was the presidential nominee of the first Progressive party in 1912... not exactly a communist.

They're not the same. The fact that the word "social change" is in the excerpt does not mean anything significant. You could say the Christian Right is lobbying for "social change" and it wouldn't mean that they are socialists. It may be more appropriate to let people who consider themselves...

It seems unlikely to me that there would be any widespread problem with illegals voting, as it would seem to put them at risk of being revealed as illegal. If I was an illegal, I'd be laying pretty low when it comes to any interaction with the government. That's why I'm skeptical of this...

I tried googling their references with no luck... Is there any documented case of an illegal being found at a polling place trying to vote?
